John is the Founder and Managing Director of JDG.

John trained and qualified as a corporate lawyer at a leading international law firm in London (Debevoise & Plimpton). He specialised in private equity investment funds, subsequently working at another Tier 1 firm (Kirkland & Ellis). 

After his time in private practice, John worked on the NEOM project as a Manager in the legal team, advising on complex commercial development and procurement projects.

John is highly experienced in international matters and has practiced as a lawyer in London, Hong Kong and KSA. 

He earned a distinction in an Arabic programme at SOAS and can speak, read and write to a high level.

John earned his BA from the University of Oxford (Magdalen College) before completing his law exams at BPP (GDL and LPC). He lives and works in London.

Misha is a seasoned English law-qualified corporate/commercial lawyer and the General Counsel at JDG. 

She began her career at Clifford Chance, where she trained and excelled as a Senior Associate. She then spent 12 years at KPMG UK as its Assistant General Counsel specialising in transactions, regulatory compliance and commercial matters. 

Misha's extensive experience includes Board-level and international mandates navigating complex legal, risk and strategic challenges. Known for her leadership and pragmatic guidance, she adeptly manages tech, operational, and compliance issues.

A recognised speaker at various conferences and roundtables, Misha's insights have earned her recognition as a 'Rising Star' by Financial News, the Sunday Times, and Management Today, highlighting her influence and impact in the legal and financial sectors.

Misha holds a law degree from the University of London and a master's in law from the University of Warwick. Her educational background, combined with her extensive professional experience, positions her as a formidable legal leader.

Robyn is an English-qualified commercial and technology lawyer and Senior Legal Counsel at JDG.

Robyn has worked both in private practice and in-house, most recently for a global social media and entertainment platform and also in FinTech for a digital asset custodian.  

Robyn’s experience includes reviewing, drafting and negotiating B2B supply of goods and services agreements, consultancy agreements, non-disclosure agreements, terms of business and experience in SaaS and software licensing, API integration, and technology implementation.

Robyn also has a specialism in non-contentious consumer, e-commerce, retail, digital media and marketing law, advising on consumer law compliance and consumer protection issues, digital marketing (including social media and influencer marketing) prize promotions, competitions and ASA CAP/BCAP Code compliance.
 

Robyn holds a European Law degree from the University of Warwick and gained a distinction in her LPC at the University of Law in Birmingham. Robyn is originally from Guernsey in the Channel Islands and currently lives and works in London.
